The Empty Tomb Proves Jesus Is God
Anyone can claim to be the Son of God. Only Jesus backed it up by rising from the dead. The resurrection is God’s stamp of approval on Jesus’ life, death, and words. It proves He is exactly who He said He was: Lord and Savior.
“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” — Matthew 28:6
The Empty Tomb Defeats Death
Death is humanity’s greatest enemy. No wealth, power, or technology can stop it. But the empty tomb declares that death has been defeated. For those in Christ, death is no longer a fearful end but the doorway into eternal life.
“O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” — 1 Corinthians 15:55
The Empty Tomb Empowers Believers
The resurrection isn’t just past history—it’s present power. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in every believer, giving strength to overcome sin and courage to share the gospel. The empty tomb means we don’t fight for victory; we fight from victory.
The Empty Tomb Demands a Response
You can’t be neutral about the resurrection. Either Jesus is alive, or He isn’t. If He is, then every person must bow to Him as Lord. The question isn’t whether the tomb was empty—the evidence is overwhelming. The real question is: will you trust the risen Christ with your life?
