“I’ll think about it later.” “I’ll get right with God someday.” For many, salvation is always on the back burner—something to deal with after work slows down, after kids are grown, after life feels less busy. But here’s the sobering truth: delaying repentance is one of the most dangerous choices you can make.

Tomorrow Is Not Promised

The Bible makes it clear that life is fragile. None of us knows how long we have. Accidents, illness, or sudden tragedy can come without warning. To put off salvation is to gamble with eternity.

Scripture Callout:
“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.” — Proverbs 27:1

The Heart Hardens with Delay

Each time you resist God’s call, your heart grows harder. Sin becomes easier, conviction feels lighter, and repentance seems less urgent. Waiting until “later” often means never.

Scripture Callout:
“Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” — Hebrews 3:15

God’s Patience Has a Limit

God is merciful, but His patience will not last forever. One day the offer of grace will expire, either at your death or at Christ’s return. To delay is to risk being unprepared when it matters most.

Now Is the Time

Salvation isn’t about “someday”—it’s about today. The Bible says, “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). Don’t wait for a better time. There isn’t one. The best time to turn to Christ is right now.
